The job

All-encompassing marketing role, working closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications. Lead and deliver multi-channel marketing and communication campaigns which are engaging, educating, raising awareness and generating revenue in line with the business objectives for our practice management solution, ePractice.

Key accountabilities

  • Support the Head of Marketing and Communications with delivery across all areas of marketing for ePractice to contribute to ROI and meet business goals
  • Develop, manage and deliver strategic multi-channel marketing plans and activities for ePractice to achieve business goals
  • Build, manage and strengthen the Healthcode brand by interpreting brand guidelines to create engaging copy and give creative direction
  • Lead in-depth market research to review the competitor landscape of Practice Management Solutions (PMSs) and share insights including where our solution sits, features, pricing etc with the Marketing and Business Development teams on a regular basis
  • Stay up to date on market trends, consumer and product research and industry best practices as well as understanding consumer behaviours and attitudes towards PMSs and make recommendations
  • Manage and lead team to enable them to do their job effectively
  • Lead, with the support the Head of Marketing and Communications, with evaluation and analysis of marketing campaigns to understand ROI and apply to future campaigns
  • Proactively engage and liaise with the team and other relevant functions such as Business Development, Product and Support, Project Managers, Customer Services, IT and Operations and Finance to deliver projects successfully
  • Engage, educate and increase brand awareness within the business sectors working closely with Head of External Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work with the Head of Marketing and Communications to gather information and ideas contributing to strategy and marketing planning
  • Support the Head of Marketing and Communications to manage and maintain external relationships with agencies, suppliers etc to ensure all projects are delivered on time within budget
  • Support with maintaining a robust database of customer information to support with successful marketing campaigns
  • Appreciation of the importance of legal and regulatory frameworks

Person specifications

Qualifications and experience

  • Educated to degree level or recognised equivalent
  • 8+ years in a marketing department and/or private medical sector experience

Professional and personal skills

  • Self-starter
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised, good planning skills, high level of attention to detail and good copywriting skills
  • Hands-on, willingness to get involved in multiple tasks as required
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, admin and organisation skills and great attention to detail
  • Good numeracy skills to analyse ROI
  • Able to work on own initiative and to multi-task, as well as ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative and innovative
  • Good project management skills
  • Good team player and ability to work with senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • A good knowledge and understanding of website content management systems
