The job
Generate revenue and build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and closing sales from business relationships. Sell our products to help our clients improve administrative efficiency and provide account management to key client accounts.
Key accountabilities
New business development
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business with a focus on individual specialist solutions
- Maintain a long-term relationship with accounts and maximise sales opportunities with them
- Work with team to develop proposals that speak to the clients’ needs, concerns and objectives
- Work with appropriate functions and internal colleagues to support development of existing and new products to meet customer needs
- Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships
- Participate in pricing the solution/ service
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through
differences to a positive conclusion - Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences and provide
feedback and information on market and current trends - Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s sales
management system/ CRM
Person specifications
Qualifications and experience
- Ideally a graduate with 1-2 years’ experience in a sales environment
- Previous experience in account management
- Understanding of medical/ clinical terminology advantageous
- Experience in the private healthcare industry advantageous but not essential
- Awareness and understanding of CRM or a sales management system

- Good presentation skills
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Good analytical skills, able to make sense of data and report on it
- Ability to plan and manage time effectively

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Have an appreciation of the importance of legal and regulatory frameworks
