We’ve passed our fundraising target with flying colours

After an eventful year of volunteering, walking, running, baking and even sky-diving, we raised a grand total of £22,528 for our charitable partner Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity  last year and we’re determined to do even better for this amazing cause in 2025.

The money raised by our awesome volunteers will make a huge difference, enabling Rainbow Trust to support 11 families with a seriously ill child for a year. The Charity’s dedicated family support workers provide much-needed practical and emotional support in difficult times, from keeping a sick child company in hospital and organising fun days out, to giving exhausted parents a chance to talk about their fears and help alleviate their stress and feelings of isolation.

As its latest Impact Report reveals, Rainbow Trust offers a lifeline for families whose lives have been turned upside-down so it’s no surprise that our teams were inspired to go the extra mile to beat our target of £20,000. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Launching from a plane at 10,000ft for a sponsored skydive

Cintia Orban “It was a very special experience to freefall for 30 seconds. I was proud to support in any way I could.”

  • Running the Vitality London 10k and the Royal Parks Half Marathon

Thea Harvey “I was happy to do something I love for such a worthwhile cause. I couldn’t wait to put on my running shoes and get out there.”

  • Putting our best foot forward on the 25k Thames Bridge Trek

Caitlyn Evans “I’ve always loved a challenge and I wanted to raise money and awareness for Rainbow Trust and its lifechanging support for families. While I’d never taken on anything like this before, it was a fun atmosphere, and I saw some incredible sights along the way.”

  • Volunteering to cheer on young walkers at Rainbow Trust’s Adventure Trail
  • Organising and participating in a company raffle and Euros sweepstake
  • Teeing off at a corporate golf day
  • Rising to the challenge with delicious bake sales
  • Hitting the high notes at a charity carol concert
  • Holding a raffle for guests at our WAY24 event

Katherine Burgess from Rainbow Trust “Thank you to all those at Healthcode who have generously supported Rainbow Trust this year through your fundraising, donations, and volunteering. The contributions really make a difference, and we are thrilled that Healthcode surpassed their fundraising target, raising an incredible £22,528. Rainbow Trust receives no central government funding, and we rely on partnerships like this in the communities where we work. With the amazing donations from Healthcode we will be able to fund 12 months of vital emotional and practical support for 11 families who are struggling to cope with their child’s diagnosis. Thank you”

While we’re proud of what we achieved last year, we want to aim even higher for 2025. Watch this space for the latest news on our colourful fundraising activity and milestones.
